Fairness Criterion
Majority: If a candidate receives the majority (>50%) of 1st place votes, then the candidate should win.
Condorcet (Head to Head): If a candidate is favored when compared head to head with every other candidate, then the candidate should win the election.
Monotonicity: If a candidate wins an election and, in a reelection, the only changes are changes that favor the candidate, then that candidate should win.
Irreverant Alternatives: If a candidate wins an election and, in recount , the only changes are that other candidates are removed from the the ballot, then the winning candidate should still win the election.
